JY360-ST Power On/Off Procedure

The following is the JY360-ST injection molding machine on/off procedure.

This machine requires 240V 3 Phase power. Turn the breaker on at the fuse box on the outside wall. If the breaker trips, then flip the breaker all of the way off, wait a minute and try again. You will here the 3 phase motor spin up and start running.
Go to the JY360-ST injection molding machine and pull the emergency button out. This will turn the machine on.
Press the "monitor" button after the lights on top of flashed and the display has gone still.
Wait about 30 seconds and then press the "heater on/off" button near the bottom. This will turn the heaters on.
Then press the "temp" button near the top. This will allow you to monitor the temperature of the different zones. Generally, 200C is a good temperature for the PP we run. However, right now zone 1 is not working so you have to set zones 2 and. 3 higher (around 240-250) to compensate for zone 1 not heating. The goal is to get zone one around 200C. It will vary so you may have to come back to this page periodically and raise or lower (1-2 degrees at a time) to keep zone one close to 200C. If the injection nozzle is down and touching the mold, zone one will not heat to the 200C point. The nozzle must be moved up and off of the mold to warm up.
Once the machine has warmed (~15 minutes) up and the temperatures are stable, you can start to use the machine.

Once you are ready to power down. Manually force the injector to inject its material somewhere. You can either do this manually as part of the last part made (and don't let it "charge" again. Or you can just dump the material out on a surface. We use PP mostly right now, but in the future we may shoot other materials. Some plastic materials are not good for the injection chamber and can cause it to wear prematurely. So it is good to get it out of the injection chamber. It is even better to run PP through it if you have something else in the machine at the end of the day. PP is considered a OK material to purge the machine and leave in the machine.
Once this has been done, raise the injector nozzle using the "nozzle ret" button to get it off of the mold.
Turn the heaters and motor off.
At this point you can press the emergency button to turn the machine off.
Go to the fuse box and turn the 240 3 phase power off.
