Please also read the 5x5 Automatic Mold Installation on a JY350-ST here. This mold has alignment pins — use the 3D printed alignment extension tools when installing.
Operation
This only requires you to remove the part after it opens. This part is small and fairly easy to remove. It should not stick too much. Once the part is removed, hit cycle again to start the next part.
- Keep the mold warm/hot. It is easier to get the part out of the mold hot.
- Try to make the part stick to the B side such that the inside of the part is exposed. It is easier to grab some of the inside structure to pull it out of the mold.
- Use silicone quick release to help release the mold. If they turn white, you can run them through a flame and it goes away.
Quality Checks
- Make sure the part is fully formed.
- Check that the part is flat and not warped.
- Remove any flashing or gate remains.
Machine Setup: See pictures below.
